In the last day of the regular season, the varsity took two in a double header vs. Good Counsel Academy.
In the first game, it was 1 to 1 when in the bottom of the second, Sophia Ponce came up with two outs, runners on second and third with a 1-0 count drove the long ball over the center field fence giving Spellman a 4 to 1 lead! In the third, Good Counsel scored again and so did Spellman. Spellman lead 5 to 2. Then in the forth, Good Cousel scored again. Spellman led 5 to 3.The rest of the way Spellman held off Good Counsel ending with a 5 to 3 win!
 
In the second game, Spellman defeated Good Counsel 12 to 0.
 Freshman Tiffany Rondon, who also pitched and won the first game threw a one hit shutout, recording her 12th win of the season! 
With so much offense on Spellman's part ,let me give you the box score.
Kim Biolsi 2 for 3 with a double, and 3 RBI's: Franny Trosa 2 for 3 with a double and 2 RBI's: Sophia Ponce 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and 3 RBI's: Lauren Carew 3 for 4 with an RBI: Monic Muffoletto 2 for 2 with a double and 1 RBI: and Catalina Gonzalez going 2 for 2 with a double.
